What’s unique about the Laser UltraLift is that it addresses the total facial picture. Our surgeons are specialists in plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, laser surgery and dermatology. They have the skills to reposition fat, skin and muscle and improve skin texture. Though the UltraLift is tailored to each individual, the most important concept is tissue repositioning. Gravity and aging affect the face and neck differently and one of the key factors in the success of the UltraLift is that it addresses both.
The Laser UltraLift combines the best state-of-the-art techniques in plastic surgery, including laser eyelid surgery, browlift, facelift, neck lift, fat implant, chin implant, liposculpture, laser peel, and other advanced techniques. Furthermore, Laser UltraLift procedures are less invasive. The Water Lift, for example, uses water under pressure that very gently lifts the skin off of its adhesion by hydrodissection, resulting in less bleeding, less trauma to the adjacent tissue, and a natural repositioning of the tissue.
We strive to provide our patients with a complete face, neck and skin rejuvenation, effectively turning back the clock and restoring a more youthful appearance. Our ultimate goal is to achieve the most natural results with the least aggressive techniques.
We perform the Laser UltraLift in our state-licensed surgery center, which is adjacent to St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica. General anesthesia is used and the procedure takes about three to four and a half hours to complete. The first night after your surgery will be spent in a recovery facility which is located across the street from our surgery center. You will then be able to return home or to your hotel on the following day. Because the Laser UltraLift utilizes less invasive techniques, there is usually little pain during the recovery. Most patients are able to return to work looking young and refreshed within ten to fifteen days.
A consultation with Abergel is the best way to determine if the Laser UltraLift is right for you. During this meeting, you will be evaluated and assessed and informed of the benefits and risks associated with the procedure. The doctor will make some recommendations and address any questions that you may have. You will also be given the opportunity to look at photographs and a DVD and to talk with our previous patients.
Though personal factors like genetics, sun exposure, smoking, obesity and illness will affect the aging process and the duration of your results, the results of the Laser UltraLift are long lasting and identical to those provided by a traditional facelift.
