Laser UltraLift Surgery Santa Monica

The Laser UltraLift is a surgical procedure which was developed by Dr. Massey & Dr. Rahimi to rejuvenate the eyes, eyebrows, cheeks, jowls and neck. The UltraLift can improve significant skin laxity and sagging caused by gravity and age. Good candidates for the procedure include patients over forty-five years of age who are bothered by heavy eyebrows and eyelids, baggy lower eyelids, a loss of the cheek bones, loose face and neck skin, jowls, wrinkling of the areas around the mouth, and/or deepening of the nasal labial folds of the cheeks.website-laser-ultra-lift-couple

What’s unique about the Laser UltraLift is that it addresses the total facial picture. Our surgeons are specialists in plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, laser surgery and dermatology. They have the skills to reposition fat, skin and muscle and improve skin texture. Though the UltraLift is tailored to each individual, the most important concept is tissue repositioning. Gravity and aging affect the face and neck differently and one of the key factors in the success of the UltraLift is that it addresses both.

The Laser UltraLift combines the best state-of-the-art techniques in plastic surgery, including laser eyelid surgery, browlift, facelift, neck lift, fat implant, chin implant, liposculpture, laser peel, and other advanced techniques. Furthermore, Laser UltraLift procedures are less invasive. The Water Lift, for example, uses water under pressure that very gently lifts the skin off of its adhesion by hydrodissection, resulting in less bleeding, less trauma to the adjacent tissue, and a natural repositioning of the tissue.

We strive to provide our patients with a complete face, neck and skin rejuvenation, effectively turning back the clock and restoring a more youthful appearance. Our ultimate goal is to achieve the most natural results with the least aggressive techniques.

What to Expect from Surgery

We perform the Laser UltraLift in our state-licensed surgery center, which is adjacent to St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica. General anesthesia is used and the procedure takes about three to four and a half hours to complete. The first night after your surgery will be spent in a recovery facility which is located across the street from our surgery center. You will then be able to return home or to your hotel on the following day. Because the Laser UltraLift utilizes less invasive techniques, there is usually little pain during the recovery. Most patients are able to return to work looking young and refreshed within ten to fifteen days.
