Artefill
Hi Dr. Abergel,
I have seen you many times on tv and I feel that you are the doctor that can "fix" my problems. There are many! First of all, my skin is very wrinkly. I have the skin of a 90 yr old, but I'm in my mid 40's. I thought it was because I lost a lot of weight and that it's damaged from the years when I worshiped the sun. all I know is that I can't stand to see my body in mirrors when trying on new clothes. This really bothers me. Another thing is the skin on my face is just terrible and the wrinkles are calling your name. I do use sun screens now but it's just too late. I would like to have an interview with you to discuss a cost effective resolution to my issues.
I would love to be walking advertisment for you and your expertise team. You can email me and we can get into more specifics. I've put this off longer than I'd like to admit. Please return my email. Thank you, Jan
AnswerDear Jan,
It looks like a laser peel would be an excellent choice for your wrinkles, possibly in conjunction with a minilift. I would need to see you to evaluate. More information on these procedures is available on the website. If you have any additional questions or would like to schedule a consultation please feel free to contact my office.

Artefill
Dr. Abergel,
You injected fat into some acne depressions that I had back in 1995. You said it would last about 10 years and it did. Now I am hearing about the Artefill. Whick one would be best for the depressions-fat injections or Artefill?
AnswerHi,
Thank you for your question. If the cheeks are really sunken, fat is an excellent option. However, if the skin itself shows some depressions, Artefill, Restylane and Juvederm would be good options. The best thing to do would be to come see me in person to discuss your specific needs.
