Hi Dr. Abergel
Do you ever do initial phone consultations busing pictures? I am a day's drive away, and would be happy to make the trip once I know I can afford your procedures! I have seen two doctors in Phoenix and they made conflicting recommendations (one said brow lift, one said plepharoplasty). Now I am frozen to inaction. My concerns are sagging brows, fine lines in my cheek area and slight jowls. I am 64.
Is your TV program broadcast only locally? I would love to see it.
thank you,
Pat
AnswerHi Pat,
We have many patients that travel from out of town for their procedures. Please email your photos and questions to my Surgical Coordinator. Her name is Maria and can be reached by email at Maria@doctorabergel.com. I will then be able to do a remote consulation.
The Cosmetic Surgery Show can by watched thru the website. The link is on the homepage.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Dr. Abergel

Hello Dr Abergel,
I've been watching your infomercial for quite a year or so now and decided to look into this further.
Here's my situation:
I am 59 1/2 yrs old Asian female. There's hardly any visible wrinkling of the face but the face has definitely dropped since there's more jowls now.
2003 - had my first mini brow lift, upper and lower lids lift. At that time, I was told that in some cases, the lower lid issue might come back.
1. Well, here it is 5 years later it did come back. The make up concealer just doesn't seem to do anymore for the lower lid. In fact, it seems to emphasize the problem.
2. It looks like there is a little fat under the chin.
3. The high cheek bone and jawline is now covered w/ the jowls
4. The body is round and the waistline bigger.
Medical History:
2005 - diagnosed w/ stage 1 breast cancer, had surgery, chemo & radiation.
Question:
1. Based on the medical history above, am I eligible for the surgery (face and lipo)?
2. What do you normally charge for consultation?
I would appreciate your responses. Thank you.
Venda
AnswerHi Venda,
I first recommend speaking with your primary doctor about the procedures that you are considering. If he or she gives you health clearance then we can proceed with a consultation and determine if you are a candidate for the procedures you are interested in.
The consultation fee is $200 and can be applied towards your surgery. Please call my office to schedule an appointment. 310-829-2005. I look forward to meeting you.
Regards,
Dr. Abergel

Dr Abergel,
I saw you on TV explaining the cream peel. I have had brown spots on my face for over 15 years-they are the bane of my existence,I am embarrassed by them and have had a broken marriage because of them. Whenever the summer is around and they really darken-kids take a second look at my face.
I am of Jamaican heritage, and would like to know if this might help me and how much would be the cost.
Thank you.
Marilyn,
AnswerHi Marilyn,
There are many treatments to improve hyperpigmentation. These include laser, peels, creams and even treatments by the estheticians in my medspa. Please keep in mind that it is important to wear a daily sunscreen. This will help prevent your darks spots from getting darker.
I'd like to help reduce the appearance of your dark spots. Please call my office at 310-829-2005 to schedule your consultation.
Best wishes,
Dr. A
